These cottages are undergoing a complete renovation designed by Jean de Gastines, the architect of Center Parcs in Moselle and of the extensions to the Villages in Sologne and Normandy.

 

They utilise a modern and simple architecture which preserves and highlights the forest setting of the site. There is a real sensation of calm and privacy generated by the wooded environment and an arrangement designed to avoid cottages being overlooking each other.

 

The single-storey cottages are built entirely of wood, a durable and natural material. The cottages open onto the outside environment with large French windows and private patios.

 

There are sun blinds for the most exposed cottages and cycle sheds for all cottages.

 

The renovation work includes:

  • New pathways and replanting of garden areas
  • New tiling, flooring and paintwork throughout

All the cottages are comfortable and fully equipped, including fitted kitchen, two, three or even four bedrooms, bathroom and a pleasant living space for families and friends to meet and relax.

 

The spacious and light interiors are open to the outdoors, letting in plenty of natural light.

How The Cottages Are Arranged

 

Within the overall Center Parcs development covering hundreds of hectares, the land is divided into hamlets called Ilots. Individual cottages are laid out in such as way as to avoid overlooking each other.
